What is the meaning of Surfing?

From Lahaina to Wailea, I have searched far and wide in search of kahunas who could enlighten me on the meaning of surfing.

Here is what they have told me:

SURFING Is what it Is and Ain't what it Ain't. If you surf, then you Is; if you don't then you Ain't. If you're in the Ain't, there's no hope of understanding the Is. If you're an Ain't wo was Is, then you still Ain't. If you're an Is who was an Ain't, then you still Is. (because we were all Ain't at one time but now we Is) But none of that is important. Just remember this: If you Is in the Is, then you Is; If you Ain't in the Ain't, then you Is.
